DAY 1
ARRIVAL IN LONDON
On arrival at Heathrow Airport, you will be met by your assistance who will accompany you to your hotel by coach.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this vibrant city.
Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
DAY 2
LONDON
Breakfast at your hotel. This morning you, enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour by coach with your full day guide. Explore this fascinating city and see famous sights such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge and many more.
Lunch in a traditional English pub (2 courses including tea/coffee).
In the afternoon you will be able to experience a guided tour of Westminster Abbey, famous for its coronations and royal weddings. Transfer back to your hotel and time to freshen up before dinner at the hotel, overnight stay.
DAY 3
SHOPPING IN LONDON
Breakfast at your hotel. It’s time to hit the shops in London! Today, is a free day for shopping and exploring this cosmopolitan city at your own pace. Stroll along Oxford street, with its long parade of high-street favourites or head to charming Covent Garden with plenty of designer stores to explore. If you are on the hunt for vintage items, then Portobello Road Market is the one for you!
Dinner at a pub in central London. Overnight stay.
DAY 4
HEVER – PENSHURST
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Departure to Hever Castle & Gardens, where we enjoy a visit. It was to become the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, King Hery VIII’s second wife, who became Queen of England for just 1000 days. Hever later passed into the ownership of another of Henry VIII’s wives, Anne of Cleves.
Travel to Penhurst Place & Gardens and enjoy a 2-course lunch including tea/coffee.
In the afternoon, visit of the historic Palace of Penshurst and its gardens. This medieval manor house is one of the most complete examples of the14th century domestic architecture in England. After the visit, we enjoy a delicious traditional English Cream Tea.
Travel to your hotel in Kent, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 5
LEEDS CASTLE – SISSINGHURST – HUSH HEATH
English breakfast at your hotel. Departure for Leeds Castle, one the most romantic castles in England and former home of King Edward I. The castle was a dowery for many British queens such as Joan of Navarre or Anne of Bohemia. Henry VIII was often present here with his wife, Catherine of Aragon.
The 500 acres of grounds surrounding the castle include a golf course, a maze with its secret underground grotto and a magnificent aviary.
Enjoy a 2-course lunch including tea/coffee.
After lunch we visit the gardens of Sissinghurst Castle, one of the most popular gardens in the whole country. In the late afternoon we discover the Hush Heath vineyard, renowned for the quality of its sparkling rose wines – and we enjoy a tasting of course!
Travel back to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 6
FAVERSHAM - CANTERBURY
Breakfast at your hotel. This morning we travel to the Shepherd Neame Brewery. Enjoy a tour through the brewery and discover all about the brewing process of this famous beer. The tour will end with a tasting of course!
After the tour we have lunch in a pub in the small typical English village of Faversham. (2 courses including tea/coffee).
After lunch, departure to Canterbury. It is one of the oldest cities of the country and overlooked by its magnificent cathedral. Back in the middle age the city was a very important pilgrimage centre after becoming the main seat of the Archbishop of England. Nowadays it is a huge touristic centre and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy a self-guided tour of the beautiful Canterbury Cathedral.
Travel back to your hotel, farewell dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 7
TRAVEL BACK HOME
Breakfast at your hotel and check-out. Travel back to Heathrow Airport for your flight back home.
